THE OPPORTUNITY

A resilient energy campus in Alberta’s power heartland.

ResiliON is a 932 MW potential natural gas-fired generation project in Lac Ste. Anne County, Alberta, located west of Edmonton and north of the Genesee generation area. The project offers up to 800 MW of data centre load potential over time, supported by multiple natural gas supply options, including nearby producers and future NGTL access.

With its strategic location, proximity to an established power region, and access to a skilled workforce and critical infrastructure, ResiliON provides a compelling opportunity to develop a large-scale, integrated energy and data centre campus. The project is in early development, with a focus on securing key permits, advancing design and engaging with communities, Indigenous groups and other stakeholders.
