THE OPPORTUNITY

A strategic energy campus west of Calgary.

Wildcat is a ~192 MW potential natural gas-fired generation project in Rocky View County, Alberta, west of Cochrane and within the Calgary region. The project is designed to provide reliable, scalable power for large industrial and data centre development, with an initial 150 MW data centre load (3 × 50 MW phases), and potential for future expansion.

With access to producer gas supply, proximity to major transmission infrastructure, and a strong regional labour market, Wildcat offers a compelling opportunity to develop an integrated energy and data centre campus. The project is in advanced development, with a focus on securing key permits, refining design and advancing commercial discussions.
